About Us

Bruce and Mathilde Wilson own and operate Mount Victory Camp in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Mt Victory Camp is an eco-resort that has been voted by Outside magazine as one of the "10 perfect adventure lodges" in the world. They have two children, Zavira and Kenny

Mathilde was born in Haiti and holds a Masters Degree in Agronomy from the University of Havana, Cuba. Mathilde is co-director of Mt Victory Camp. She continues to have very strong ties to her family in Haiti. She and Bruce return to Au Centre regularly, to visit her mother and to direct community development projects for the village. They founded Haiti Community Support to place donated funds directly into the community, where it does the most good.

Bruce is an environmentalist, a land planner, and a builder. His recent project is the design and building of Mt Victory Camp, an innovative eco-lodge. He travels, and reads widely. He co-founded Haiti Community Support which utilizes his skills in program planning and execution. Born in New England, he has been a St. Croix resident for 25 years.
