Our 5th Annual Fundraiser for the Children of Au Centre, Haiti, was a great success! Over two hundred people attended the big party at Mt Victory Camp on Jan 18th. We were thrilled by the continued support of so many of you, and the large numbers of new supporters!
The money raised is going directly to Haiti to keep our 190 school-age children in school, and getting food and medical care for the next year. Thank you Virgin Islanders for helping your neighbors in need!

We started the New Year with a bang! The 4th Annual Fundraiser on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Mt Victory Camp was a great day! Over 200 supporters of Haiti turned out for the event. Jamesie and the All Stars kept things going, the Live Auction was twice the size as last year, The Silent Auction went well, and the premier of Haiti Drums brought the crowd to their feet. But the real action of the day was in the tent where our great volunteers spent the whole day signing up new Support A Child sponsors, taking donations, selling books, and answering questions. We are so grateful for our community's continued support for some of the world's poorest children. Congratulations to Ulla Neuburger who is the first receipient of the Special Founder's Award. We're so very thankful!!!

Support a Child Members
So many people have joined our Support a Child Program! $1 per day donation supports one student with education and hot meals and medical care. This program is the life-blood for the Renaissance Elementary School in Haiti. Thanks to so many generous people we now have almost half the students sponsored.
We are extremely thankful to so many people who have re-signed their pledge, and so many new members who are now helping a child. THANK YOU!!!
