Our
mission is to assist the community of Au Centre/Beaumont in Haiti and
its surrounding region immediately through programs that improve education,
health and quality of life of its people. And ultimately, we will assist
through economic programs that make the community self-sustaining.
This isolated region in Southern Haiti is an area with no schools, healthcare,
or adequate food that is remote even by Haitian standards. We are doing
this work because
no one else is doing it. We operate under arduous conditions, but the
need is so extreme that any help we provide makes a world of difference
for the village.
Our educational, health and economic programs are designed and executed
by the villagers. Program funds are spent in the village, improving the
economy. By addressing critical needs simultaneously: health, education,
economics, progress is more sustainable.
